Thank God for broadband Internet - I can listen to sermons while I sit at home doing work. I've picked up the habit gradually from other folks like Matt and Andrew, and these days I'm listening to Cambridge Vineyard's archive.

Thing is, there's a lot to digest in a sermon. I'm all sermon-ed out now, and while listening to a series of related sermons isn't so bad, it feels kind of like eating too much at once. It's hard to enjoy when there's too much going on - and my brain's already occupied with quite a bit these days as it is. More on that another time, I suppose.

If you can control your audio intake a little better than I, there's a lot to be learned and applied from Vineyard. And I'm sure there's more out there, but there's something that takes it a little closer to home when you know what the pastor and the setting actually look like. Moreover, I think one of the immediate benefits of leaving my old church was paying attention to spiritual teaching in the sense that I strongly desire for it to affect my day to day living, and one of Vineyard's emphases is that God desires the same thing.
