Picture this: one man stands between the end of mankind, an end that is absolute in its totality. He and he alone is responsible for what happens at this juncture. The circumstances are like none other in the history of the world. To bring the ante up another notch, his actions, his saving actions, must conclude with his own death. What would you do when you found out he succeeded? What would it mean to you to hear the name of this man, to think upon what he did and what he gave - all so you could live?

Harry Stamper. Armageddon devotes a meager couple of minutes answering those questions. The Bible, from which this (admittedly outdated and rather crappy) movie derives its name, devotes itself to the subject -- and, obviously, to a different protagonist. And the answer is worship.
