Men's Ministry

The vision of Men Of Valor and Excellence (MOVE), the Pentecostal Tabernacle Men's Ministry, is that every man be enlightened to the reality of who they are in Christ, that they may be men of purpose, priests of their homes, and leaders of their communities. It is our expectation that by constantly subjecting ourselves to the perfecting work of the Holy Spirit, we will be the agents of reconciliation that the LORD is seeking to use to restore lives broken by the consequences of sin. That the LORD may not say of this generation:
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
Ezekiel 22:30
Men Of Valor and Excellence will accomplish its objectives by studying the Bible, prayer, personal interaction, and emulating Godly examples of how to be a Man of God. This principle is based on Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpens iron; so one man sharpens another."
It is the goal and the objective of this ministry that every man that is associated with Pentecostal Tabernacle experience a life changing transformation. That they are transformed by the renewing power of the Word and the Holy Spirit and conformed to the image of Christ Jesus to prove God's good (beneficial), and acceptable (well pleasing), and perfect (complete) will in their life. (Romans 8:29; 12:1-2)
Women of the Harvest
Director: Lady Carmen Greene
The women's ministry at Pentecostal Tabernacle is called "Women of the Harvest." Our mission is "To assist and encourage women to harvest the greatness which God has planted in each of our lives." Harvest speaks of gathering, reaping, or producing. The result of harvest is to bear fruit, receive rewards & benefits, or produce growth.
We desire that all women reach the destiny for which God created them. As a ministry, our goal is to help each woman see herself the way that God really sees her and to recognize her own value. Once each woman realizes how God sees her, she not only can live her life based on God's viewpoint, but she will also be able to help others to recognize their value as well.
We endeavor to do this through monthly workshops, various speakers, dramas, panel discussions, retreats, outings, shopping sprees, and just plain old having fun. We truly see ourselves impacting our families, our communities, and all those who come in contact with us as we continually pursue the harvest.

"This is the generation of them that seek HIM, that seek thy face". These words were spoken by King David thousands of years ago and were recorded in the Bible (Psalm 24:4). They ring just as true today as we prepare to enter a new millenium.
The word generation is defined as a "group of individuals most of whom are the same approximate age, having similar ideas, problems, attitudes, etc." The word impact means to have an effect on and/or influence the thinking of". We will create the type of young person that will have an effect and influence the thinking of this generation for the Glory of God.
