When I'm dead and buried, I will be beyond any joy I know now to hear God tell me, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:21) Nothing can compare with a life lived rightly for Him. And it relates directly to where I expend my energies here and now. And it was just what I needed to hear.

Only the love that's in Your heart
Can fill my thirsty soul
Only the blood shed from your hands
Can cleanse and make me whole

Give me the strength to fix my eyes on the Lamb
A desire to do Your will
Forsaking this earthly flesh and decay
For the treasure He's longing to give
When He says, "Well done, good servant enter My rest"
