Pastor Brian Greene, 2 Chronicles 20; well, kind of. Again, I should probably get the sermon tapes from the earlier service, Pastor took a slightly different turn in the second service.

Pastor's message was essentially giving praise at all times, and real praise, despite circumstances. Because God is good, all the time, and that means all the time, even when things seem like they suck. After all, being happy is circumstantial; see the similarity to the word happenstance? Praise and joy don't depend on chance.

Who knows, maybe God has some blessing He's holding back because He wants to see how we react to our situation - a sacrifice of praise, or settling for some small consolation and comfort instead.
