Microsoft is suing spammers, which is kind of nice in the sense of letting two evils annihilate one another (I sense the fifteen spammers are going to get pounded into oblivion, which in turn will simply leave a gap in spam space to be filled by others).

Moreover, I think this should mean it's open season to sue Microsoft for its role in spreading spam and viruses. If Microsoft can legislate against one breed of perpetrators, then the rest of the Internet's users, who have suffered countless hours and dollars worth of ill effects at the hands of Redmond, should be able to bring suit against the owner of hotmail.com (spammers galore) and Outlook (the warm, dark place viruses love to hide).
