Rich British crackpot tycoons. First they compete with one another to race around the world in archaic flying devices just to out do one other. Now this one is banning internal email and claiming an increase in productivity at his company. I don't believe him, unless his company was puny, which it isn't. What about the advantage of a paper copy of transactions? Or communicating with many people in one shot? How about saving costs on international communication? Or timely communication with separate time zones? Getting rid of a communications medium because you don't understand how to use it sounds like poor business practice to me. I hope other corporations don't follow this man's inane lead. |
