If you ever feel like the person you are isn't the person you should be. If you ever forget your motivation. If you stop and wonder why you stopped. Then step back. Learn at the feet of someone who did become someone. Who forgot their motivation but found it again. Who stopped but started anew. Who came to the brink of failure but, deus ex machina, saw success in the end.

Mythology and legend, epic and grand, sublimely point out truth in ways no blunt, pithy exposition ever could. Maybe in your own land of darkness you will find your motivation to begin afresh.
