I've been spending most of my free time getting a multiuser Linux server off the ground for friends and family. There's something about solving practical problems that aren't too easy that's very engaging and addictive. For every one thing I take off the to-do list, I generally add another two. And it's more fun that way.

"Practical," is, of course, all in the eye of the beholder. However, if you find you'd like to host a non-profit website or an email account with some degree of friendly service (no guarantees, no promises, but we will strive to provide useful, privacy-respecting, data-safe internet services) for a nominal fee, now's a great time to let me know. Because you can just send me a CD burned with all your stuff and we won't have to worry about network data transfer later.

If I already host you, you're set. If you've told me before, I probably have your name down, but tell me again.

Whee. Tomorrow is no-sysadmin day, though. Somebody remind me. I have other things to do, I guess.
