Long ago, I became third party to this ICQ conversation:

Joyce: I don't know what I'm going to do for dinner.
Amy: I have oranges and salt.
Joyce: You are SO weird...
Amy: what?? i'm offering my food to you. You're so ungrateful. Come eat with me.
I can have the orange, you can have the salt.......or, we can share.
Joyce: You are SO strange...
Amy: what?! fine. that's the last time I offer my food to you.

Yesterday, its sequel (spoken):

Me: I need to eat dinner.
Bao: I have tomatoes, cucumbers, and ice cream.
Me: What, together?  I need to eat an actual dinner.
Bao: It's an African delicatessen!
Me: ...
Bao: Delicacy, here...
[three minutes later, after cutting tomatoes and cucumbers]
Me: This is disgusting.
Bao: IT'S GOOD!  But why do the tomatoes taste like oranges?
