This sandstone concretion from Fontainebleu in France can be found in the Smithsonian Institute's Museum of Natural History. An elegant natural formation, it shares a room with the Hope Diamond, an ugly piece of worthless carbon adorned with other gaudy crap used chiefly as a means to repay debts amongst an upper class historically and inexplicably deeply invested in gaudy crap. This rock, on the other hand, is beautiful. |
