Aside from increasingly crappy operating systems, Apple makes (or outsources) some terrible batteries. Batteries swelling is a normal condition? So it's normal for an Apple branded product to become volatile and cause injury to the owner while they're using it as intended?

Well, that's awful.

Because this is supposedly normal, the store I'm sitting in won't supply a replacement. Search online. Other stores have. That's terribly inconsistent for a corporation renowned as a brand freak (and ridiculously frugal for a company sitting on the largest cash pile in the world).

I've been falling out of interest in getting stuck in an Apple jail as time goes on. Keep accelerating the process, Apple. Written from your Genius Bar.
