My grandmother and her best friend visited me here in Boston for two weeks this summer. Having heard everyone rave about the Gardner Museum, and being that it's just across the Fens from my home, I suggested that they check it out.
My grandmother made the mistake of wanting to write down the name of one of the paintings for me. A guard promptly told her that it was not permissible to use her own writing implement in the museum. She would have to return to the front desk to acquire an officially sanctioned museum pencil.

It's not too difficult to drill into brick. You just have to have a masonry bit. They're easy enough to find at a hardware store or Home Depot. I have a couple.

This editorial gives some demographic numbers on how evangelicals voted. In short, by your criteria, you should be especially a little sick.
I am with you on being delighted to see Fritz Hollings gone. He was supposedly a senator for South Carolina, but his best constituents seemed to be Southern California. I can see how the similarity in spelling could confuse a man. Maybe we can get someone to undo the Millenium Copyright Act now.

It's gets confused if you get too complicated. If you put text between #pound signs you get bold# and if you put text between *asterisks you get italics*, but when you start to venture into tables and lists, sometimes it does what you want, and sometimes it doesn't. And even when you work around a problem to get it to do what you want, you're not exactly sure why.
But hey, it's better than a sock in the eye.

I bet that you could create that blog of your dreams by using the HTML::TextToHTML Perl libraries. I've been using the command-line txt2html derivative for a while, and it has proven very useful, though it is annoying at times.
